Sending Pastor at CrossPoint Church

I am writing to enthusiastically recommend Jordan and Laura Franklin as they seek to raise support as career BBF missionaries to Argentina. I know we all receive many requests for support, but the Franklins are an unusually well-qualified and prepared new missionary couple.

  • Jordan is an MK from Latin America. He was raised on the fields of Cuba and the Dominican Republic as the son of current career missionaries Tom and Regina Franklin.

  • Both Jordan and Laura are already fluent in Spanish and both received M.Div. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

  • They have completed a very productive and successful internship at the church I pastor. We asked them to rotate through every ministry of the church, and they excelled everywhere they served.

  • Most impressively, they started a Spanish language ministry at our church. They began with no people or leaders, and in less than a year raised up a core group of over 20 people. They are leaving the group with two qualified volunteer leaders to continue the work they started.

This is one of those rare times where a new missionary family can make an immediate impact with little time spent in preparation and adaptation. I respectfully and prayerfully encourage you to join me in helping these workers get to the field.

Missions Director of Baptist Bible Fellowship International

I would like to give my personal recommendation of Jordan and Laura Franklin to you and your church. They are BBFI missionaries to Argentina. They have received their education for missions. The Franklins have completed their church planting internship under the leadership of Pastor Bruce Garner (former BBFI missionary).

Laura is a very sharp young lady who has expressed her passion to reach people with the gospel for the glory of God. Her expertise and training will only enhance their ministry in missions.

Jordan is a missionary kid who grew up on the mission field with his parents, Tom and Regina Franklin, in the Dominican Republic. He has played an active role in their ministry. He also has a strong desire to see people saved, discipled and new churches planted.

Just being around these two gives you a sense of how God is going to continue to use them greatly. I am impressed with them and their passion for the lost. They will represent your church well in Argentina. I highly recommend them to you. Please consider inviting them to your church; I know your people will fall in love with them. In addition, they will be a great encouragement to your people and couples.
